A quick reminder about all of our contests + interactive features. We're continuing to accept all submissions for the following :

1. A chance to appear on the radio! Would you/your latest project like an opportunity to be featured on the Midwest's only solar-powered radio station? Simply introduce yourself! State your name, what you're affiliated with, followed by one of these fine select choices :

1.) "and you are listening to 100.1 KRUU FM"

3.) "and you are listening to 'Great Job, Sound Squad' on KRUU FM"

3. Are you on YouTube? You could have a shot on our upcoming C.C.I. LiveStream TV station! Submit your original videos/links/etc. to CaptainCaptainIndustries@Gmail.com. If we feature you, you'll (more than likely) receive a quick C.C.I. booster-pack that should replenish any lack of Captain in your complex.

4. Are you a fellow Blogspot user? Haven't 'subscribed' to us yet? Well, it's paid off -- all Google Blogspot subscribers will be entered into a 5-draw raffle for some C.C.I. gear. Seriously -- our Facebook numbers have been doing substantially well, but Tumblr seems to have left a mark on the fellow Blogspot community, and we've felt it. Our traffic's doing well, but our Google Subscriptions have actually lessened. Crazy times, guys n' gals.

Just for Fun :: Sticker Contest

It's been a relaxing, yet productive weekend here, and we feel as if we should have a little more fun this week, taking the time to give our fans a fun opportunity to interact with us.

It can be anything from a lucid doodle, to a train-bridge tag, to really anything that would show some sort of odd devotion to a crafty little blog. We'll examine the submissions, and a selected few will receive some limited edition 'Captain Captain Industries' stickers for more on-the-go debauchery.**

Logo Design Contest

Back in 2008, when Captain Captain Industries was simply known as the musical project 'Captain Captain', we asked our followers/listeners to upload any original 'Captain Captain' artwork, just to see what results we could muster. Now, in 2011, with more readers than ever before, we're feelin' like it's time to dust off the ol' podium and see what you all can come up with!

We've been fooling around with some designs of our own, including our new Digital Lego® logo (say that a couple times fast!).

Photographs, digital artwork, graffiti, -- it's all on the table. Make what you can, and we'll showcase the results, no matter how extravagant or simplistic they might be.

Update/Mixtape Information/Possible Contest?

What's up, world? Just an update to let you know how things are going around the office. Yesterday, the first test mixtape CD was crafted, as well as some D.I.Y.-style cases for 'em. We'll be releasing three editions of this mixtape, one being another digital release, another being the 'promotional' edition that comes in a standard sleeve, and the last being our deluxe package, the most limited edition we'll release.

Our official artist's list - I can't quite release all of it yet, but our confirmed artists include : Lane Weaver, Fooch/P.A.C., Heath Morris, Abigail Frerichs, The Olympics, a slew of original productions, and an exclusive mixtape-only track by Schismatic. The CD consists of somewhere around twenty tracks, so that's twenty reasons to keep coming back for more first-to-know information.

In other news, people are totally coppin' that EP. We had a little more than a hundred-and-fifty downloads in two days, even though MediaFire likes to be selective as to which users can actually view the files. Finally, kudos to Solo Co. for our new addition into the C.C.I. .jpeg vault. We ran a contest in '08, asking our fans to design some digital Captain Captain Industries art, and the result saw over ten or fifteen solid, original designs. Now knowing that our fanbase has extended quite a bit in these past two years, we may have a second 'volume' of the contest. We'll keep you updated on any promos/contests coming up as well.

Until then though, try and stay dry. It's so damn soggy outside.
