Ladies, Gents :

Excuse our unexplained hiatus -- those who follow us on Facebook know off-hand that we'll be experiencing some internet-related technicalities throughout the rest of February/early March. However, we'll be using this time to map out some new directions, including some new styles of musical production, new releases, (hopefully) some new connections, and well... if we told you all we had up our sleeves, we wouldn't have suspense on our side.

We'll be infrequently popping in-and-out throughout the next couple of weeks. Our posts may dwindle a bit, but the effort's still (mainly) there. We're taking interview applications, new artist affiliations and fan-suggestions! We'd love to hear some feedback from our faithful followers -- if we use your quick tips and hints (with your permission, of course!), we'll hit you up with some limited edition 'Captain Captain Industries' goodies. Oh, and one final note -- You've gotta check out our radio program (GREAT JOB, SOUND SQUAD!) on 100.1 KRUU FM. Locals can use their radio dials, but for our much larger international audience, feel free to visit KRUU FM's official website, and note the top-left-hand corner, where you can find a link that will sync our show with your iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. Pretty fun stuff, and we jump at the chance to play YOUR music. Mini-Vacation

Internet's gonna be down for a bit + new term is starting. Hopefully this will give us some time to get back to our productions! Just a forewarning -- things may get a bit slow over here. Until then though, we'll see you all on the flip!

Notice :

Notice that C.C.I's running a little slower than usual? That's because we've been making some changes surrounding the website template and sifting through many new music submissions, sent in by several people who'd like nothing more than a little light on their projects. We promise we'll be back up again in no time.

Also, there's a chance, yes a chance, that we will have a limited re-release our first compilation mixtape. Originally released earlier this year, the Captain Captain Industries Official Collaborative Mixtape : Vol. I introduced us to handfuls of great under-the-radar talent, ranging from local groups to international acts. There's no green-light as of yet, but it's a thought.

On the other side of the coin, our "Hold That Tiger" EP-release has officially been discontinued. Featuring four of our first hip-hop instrumentals, HTT broke ground on 420chan, garnering generally positive reviews, with one member using our three-minute-release of "Bill Murray Beatz" as the backing track to an anti-drunken-driving video. There is no timetable for any re-release of the EP.

Mid-Summer Hiatus

Production here at the Industry will be a little slower than in past weeks - mainly for brainstorming + our soon-to-be-revealed fre$h new gimmick. xx
