The Antlers, one of Captain Captain Industries' favorite groups, has taken the prize of being the subjects of our first interview. Granted, it's only one question, but honestly, I don't think anything else I might have said would've mattered.
These Brooklyn boys did us well -- we've been following The Antlers since they were originally just Peter Silberman. Now, it looks like we owe them a favor, don't we?
Our favorite Antlers piece?
"The Universe is Going To Catch You" --
Which is closely followed by 'Shiva', a three-minute beauty off of their first major release, 'Hospice'.
'Hospice' tells the tale of an emotionally conflicted man meeting a depressed cancer patient in a ward where he is working. He ends up falling in love, and eventually watches her die whilst he's bedside. Powerful stuff. xxx
