What's even more surprising than Shaun White failing to qualify in the Winter X Games?
C.C.I.'s Employee of the Week : The Success of...
Torin Yater-Wallace.
According to ESPN, Yater-Wallace is the youngest competitor on the 2011 Winter X Games roster and third youngest male in the Games' history. Yesterday however, I witnessed this kid pick up the gold medal, the youngest to do so -- by edging out popular face in the skiing super pipe world, Kevin Rolland. Simon Dumont finished third at 90.33.
Seriously though, a fifteen-year-old kid ripping it up? He can't even drive yet, and he's got a gold medal to hang up somewhere. Major props to Torin Yater-Wallace, Captain Captain Industries' Employee of the Week.

In other news, The Olympics, C.C.I regulars, have some new gems up on their YouTube account, which you can find here.
Somebody mentioned that February looks dreadful weather-wise for 2011, and knowing Iowa's winters, we'll probably get smacked with the worst of it.
So stay warm, y'all --
C.C.I. xxxx
